With winter comes cold and flu season, and your child and their developing immune system often catches a case of “what’s going around” and brings it home. National PTA teamed up with the National Education Association and Lysol to create the Healthy Habits Program to help teach children the importance of hand washing as well as other health and hygiene practices.

Proper hand washing is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Use the Healthy Habits Program materials to teach your child how to be a hand washing expert and keep “what’s going around” at school from coming around your home.
